Common Questions

Starting a tour

Open TourGuide and scan the QR code or use the tour link provided by your host. The app will download the tour map, audio, and points of interest before you begin.

Location permission

TourGuide uses your location on your device to show your position on the map and play the right audio when you reach a point of interest. If audio does not trigger, check that location permission is enabled for TourGuide in iOS Settings.

Audio playback

Make sure your volume is turned up and silent mode is off. If you use headphones, confirm they are connected before starting the tour.

Missing or incorrect content

Tour content is configured by your host. If a stop, route, or audio clip seems wrong, contact your host first and include the tour name or QR code if you email us.

Privacy and Permissions

TourGuide does not require an account and does not store personal data on our servers. Location is used on-device for maps and audio triggers. You can review the full policy on our Privacy Policy.
